WATCH: Joe Biden’s Senior Moment of the Week Vol. 11

Joe Biden, 79, has had another eventful week as the nominal president of the United States. On Tuesday, for example, the year-over-year inflation report for August came in higher than expected at 8.3%, and the stock market suffered its worst day since June 2020 in worst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

That didn’t stop Biden and his fellow Democrats from throwing a party to celebrate the so-called Cut Inflation Act by listening to James Taylor perform “Fire and Rain,” a song about drug addiction, depression and suicide. “Imagine being a mom or dad looking through your child,” he shouted to the crowd gathered on the White House lawn. “You know the needs of the incident [sic] very much to live to live.”

Additionally, the Commander-in-Chief warned a crowd of cancer patients not to jump off balconies and praised “the Ministry of Defense which has the ability to calculate a million-trillion Ministry of Energy calculations per second”, whatever that means.

Have a good week-end!
