Dockery Named VP of VyStar Credit Union

Ken Dockery was recently named the new Vice President of VyStar Credit Union’s new location at 6435 N. Wickham Road in Suntree.

Dockery is from Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated in 1986 from Coastal Carolina University.

He had been with Bank of America for 24 years and moved to Palm Bay last year.

“I’m excited about what VyStar brings to the community,” Dockery said. “They are involved in non-profit organizations and are willing to give back a lot of money and time. That’s what banks don’t do these days.

VyStar’s Suntree branch is expanding its presence in Brevard County, where the credit union opened its Titusville branch earlier this year.

VyStar now has over 15 locations in Central Florida, with plans for future growth in the region.

VyStar Credit Union is the second largest credit union headquartered in Florida and now serves over 830,000 members with assets of over $13 billion.

VyStar is Northeast Florida’s largest mortgage lender and a major employer in the region, with more than 2,000 employees.

Membership in VyStar is open to anyone who lives or works in the 49 contiguous counties from Central to North Florida and 26 counties in Georgia.

Best Lawyers noted the caliber of O’Connor’s work in both appeals practice and commercial litigation.

O’Connor joined WhiteBird earlier this year after several years as an attorney for Am Law, which has offices in Orlando and Tallahassee.

Four get new jobs at marketing firm The AD Leaf

The AD Leaf, a full-service marketing firm, recently announced a number of key personnel promotions and staff additions.

Personnel changes include:

Brian Wallace to the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer.

In this new role, Wallace will be responsible for leading the new business line of the organization’s franchise division.

Wallace has worked for The AD Leaf since 2021 and has been instrumental in its growth and success since his start as Vice President of Growth and Marketing.

Sean Williams was hired as vice president of growth and marketing.

His responsibilities include developing and executing marketing plans that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for the company.

Williams is a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Prior to joining The AD Leaf, he held various marketing positions, giving him over 10 years of experience in the field, including serving as Marketing Chair on the Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses Board of Directors.

Shannon Sullivan was promoted to vice president of operations for the marketing team.

Sullivan graduated with honors from the Florida Institute of Technology, where she earned her degree in business administration with a focus on marketing. She completed her Masters in Music Business at New York University.

She started with The AD Leaf as a social media specialist in 2019.

Ebon Marks was named the team’s operations manager.

With over eight years of experience in the music and marketing industries, she will oversee all marketing operations.
